The bayou just lost a great one.
Back in January, the internet went wild after the discovery of one woman in particular…
Aileen Hnatiuk, a sports reporter for the Baton Rouge Proud News in Louisiana.
She sent out one tweet, and before you know it she had captured the hearts of every dude on the internet:
“That’s a wrap #Saints”
Needless to say, it was one silver lining after the New Orleans Saints went through a difficult 2022 football season, going only 7-10.
But now that the world was introduced to Ms. Hnatiuk, there was just a little bit more hype surrounding Saints fans, knowing that this internet smoke show was now one of them, and they’ll be seeing more of her…
With that being said, I hate to inform all of the male New Orleans Saints fans out there, because Aileen Hnatiuk has moved on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
She made the announcement via social media, posing in a red Buccaneers shirt, making the official announcement that she is now a reporter for WFLA News Channel 8 in Tampa.
This is a brutal loss for the Saints here.
First, they have to deal with Derek Carr being their new starting quarterback (although he’s looking pretty sharp and swole this season) while he’s on the tail end of his career, and now they have to face the reality that ol’ Aileen is no longer a part of them.
A devastating scene if I must say so myself.
