The Buc-ee’s empire is expanding.
The Lake Jackson, Texas headquartered gas station, store, food market, and so much more have been growing like crazy recently.
Last year the company announced a new location opening in Colorado, Kentucky opened the doors on its first, a Virginia location was announced, and now we get more news that the beaver is heading north.
The mayor of Huber Heights, Ohio posted to Facebook, confirming rumors that the franchise was headed to the Buckeye State.
Huber Heights is located about an hour west of Columbus, and north of Cincinnati.
Have to say, this just makes sense. Buckeye State… Buc-ee’s… it’s a layup.
Naturally, Ohioans are pretty fired up about the news and are taking to social media to celebrate.
Here’s a few comments on the mayor’s post.
“That’s awesome! Big win for the area!
Am I dreaming!?
I CAN’T WAIT
Welcome BUC-EES!!! You are my go-to stop when I am in Texas!”

Omg 😳 can’t believe it ! Hopefully, Moore will be coming to different locations in Ohio other than the Dayton area such as Columbus and Cincinnati Cleveland

Last month, I drove an hour out of my way to get my hands on a brisket sandwich and use those spotless bathrooms.
As a Pennsylvania native, I don’t get excited for much in Ohio, but I can get behind this.
Good job to all.
