Just when you thought you had seen the last of Johnny Manziel, he comes roaring right back.

You would have had to live underneath a rock in the past decade to not know the name “Johnny Football,” though the former Texas A&M standout and short-tenured Cleveland Brown has been out of the spotlight in recent years.

When he was at the height of his hype in college though, making every Aggies game must-watch-TV, college football was pretty damn fun.

Manziel’s run in the NFL didn’t go as planned, and who can really blame him? Anyone else that has been drafted to be the savior of the Cleveland Browns hasn’t panned out either. It seemed like the reckless nature in which he threw the pigskin that made him unique in college actually turned out to be pretty easy for opposing NFL teams to figure out.

In the past couple of years, Johnny has taken his talents to the Canadian Football League, as well as the Alliance of American Football, with his last stint at QB being with the experimental Fan Controlled Football league.

However, it appears that “Johnny Football” might be transitioning into a new line of business, which means we’ll have to call him “Johnny Nightclub” from now on. Hey, that’s got a pretty nice ring to it…

Pretty much all college quarterbacks who don’t have pro-careers pan out will find that they are always welcome at their alma mater in some form or fashion. A lot of successful college players will come back and coach where they played, or maybe even open up a car dealership in the area knowing that loyal fans will flock to buy trucks from them.

Manziel decided that he wanted to do something that mirrored his playing days at Texas A&M, so he opened up a bar and nightclub called “Johnny Manziel’s Money Bar” located in College Station (where the Aggies play).

Seems like a pretty smart move from the former Heisman Trophy winner, and the name is a play on the classic “money celebration” that he used to do in his playing days (before NIL).

It’s honestly great to see that Manziel is figuring things out as the window for his professional football career slowly (but surely) closes. The “Money Bar” will without a doubt be a hit in College Station, and could even become a game day tradition for Aggies games.

Talking “Johnny Football” has really just gotten me excited for college football, which is just around the corner. We’ve still got a little bit of a wait though, so to help hold you over, here’s a highlight reel of Manziel’s Texas A&M days. Enjoy:
