Miles Miller brings his sound to life with the lighthearted music video for his tune “Highway Shoes.”

Miles Miller has had quite the booming start to his career, but when you produce your debut album with Sturgill Simpson, and fill it with phenomenal tracks that are a pleasure to listen to, it will surely get people talking.

Solid Gold houses the perfect mix of indie folk and Texas country roots with bluesy flair. The sound Miller curated in this album appeals to listeners of multiple genres, giving it phenomenal critical acclaim.

“‘Solid Gold’ is a love story, but about love being around and love leaving. It’s an entire story essentially about wanting to get back to the love you have, realizing you shouldn’t give it away, love leaving, hitting the road because of it leaving, feeling love on the road, love from home, to realizing you need to keep walking and wish them well.

It’s an album about the cycle of a love story that crumbles.”

Miller said, reflecting on the meaning of the album.

Today he released a music video to accompany the album’s track “Highway Shoes.”

The lighthearted visuals match the song’s message perfectly.

“Get yer ass over to YouTube to watch me sing Highway Shoes in a baby blue Ford F100.

Shoutout to the director Zach Riddle and to Monica Valli, Cole Beddingfield, and Ben Brown for being a part of it!”

During the video, Miles Miller is headed on a road trip, picking up friends along the way. Monica Valli, Cole Beddingfield, and Ben Brown are featured in the video alongside Miller. All of them play characters that are ready to pack up and get out of the town they are in.

“Gotta put on your highway shoesJust put on your highway shoesCome along and ride, we’re going nowhereCome along and ride, cause life is unfair.”

The imagery is simple, clean, and effective.

Combined with the music video release, Miller excitingly shared that he will be hitting the road this fall with big players Turnpike Troubadours and Blackberry Smoke.
