There’s just something awesome about seeing something so strange come fully out of the water out of nowhere.
Devil rays are cool looking fish that can grow quite huge. Usually, they have a span around 8 feet but they have been measured up to 17 feet wide.
Their unique disk shape makes them stand out amongst many other ocean creatures.
These creatures are also known to jump right out of the water. They use their powerful swimming to launch up and out fully into the air.
These rays are target species for some fishermen in areas they live. Their unique look and large size draws in people far and wide to try and fish them.
This devil ray is seen jumping fully out of the water. He jumps as high a bird flying nearby.
It seems like they can use their wide shape as sail to get up into the air and flap.
What a unique creature.
