Boy, is it good to see we are about to get new music from The Wilder Blue.

If you have not familiarized yourself with The Wilder Blue, now is a great time to do so. With their 2022 self-titled album falling into spot number 28 on our Whiskey Riff Albums of the Year list, there is no doubt that we are fans of their music.

Headed by frontman Zane Williams, the band features some of the best when it comes to big band sounds. With four and five-part harmonies, steel guitars, and lots of twangs, their sound perfectly captures the Western Americana essence.

New music from the group is quickly approaching, with the announcement of their latest single, “Learnin’ My Lesson,” dropping July 3rd. They have perfectly timed this release with their show at the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX.

“We’re pleased as punch to announce our new single, “Learnin’ My Lesson,” is going to be available anywhere records are streamed next Monday, July 3rd!

It features a guest vocalist that some of y’all might recognize too. Let us know who you think it is in the comments, and we’ll see you all at Gruene Hall for release day!”

Fans in the comments think that the mystery guest in the video snippet could be Wes Bayliss from The Steel Woods.

The gritty guitar riffs highlight outlaw country music, creating an addicting melody for the ears.

They also shared a different snippet of the song on TikTok, and placing the two together gives a good idea of its full sound, and you can already tell this is going to be a good one.

No better time than July 3rd to start listening to The Wilder Blue if you enjoyed this teaser.
