Two legends together.
Randy Travis is a legend for many reasons and holds a soft spot in the hearts of many performing artists today. Aside from his impact on the industry, his love for music and supporting other artists is undoubtedly obvious – especially now that he’s not able to perform much himself following his devastating stroke back in 2013.
But Randy’s still out and about and remains a visible figure in country music.
And during the final night of CMA Fest, Tim McGraw shared the sweetest moment with Randy Travis backstage.
Travis shared a video of McGraw and his nephew, Timothy, serenading Travis with a lick from Travis’ hit “On The Other Hand.”
Travis captioned the video posted to TikTok:
“I can’t tell you how much it meant to see Tim McGraw and Faith last night at Country Music Association Fest!
We don’t get to see each other often enough — they are lights! And we loved meeting their nephew Timothy!”
Of course, McGraw sounds great acapella, and Travis sings along to every word of his tune.
The intimate moment warms the heart of viewers. We don’t deserve Randy Travis.
