Buckle up Carrie Underwood fans; a deluxe album is dropping come September.

Announced today, Carrie Underwood will release her Denim & Rhinestones Deluxe Edition on September 22nd, featuring six new songs, including the track she dropped today, “Take Me Out.”

The superstar took to Instagram to share the news with fans:

“I love the ‘Denim & Rhinestones’ album so much that we’ve added six more tracks and have a deluxe version coming September 22, which includes my new single ‘Out Of That Truck.’

You can pre-order/pre-save the ‘Denim And Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition)’ and get another new track, ‘Take Me Out,’ today!”

Along with the announcement of the deluxe album, Underwood is also launching a new Sirius XM radio station titled Carrie’s Country (Channel 60).

The 24/7 radio station will feature picks hand curated by Underwood, spanning genres from rock, gospel, and of course, the country songs and artists that have inspired her extensive discography. Outside of just music, listeners of her station will also hear exclusive stories behind her songs.

Of course, though, with it being a Carrie Underwood station, you will get plenty of her songs you know and love.

The two singles she has already released that will appear in the album’s extension highlight very different undertones.

“Take Me Out” has light and airy melodies that highlight the feelings of being in love but longing for your lover to take you out on the town—the narrator’s struggle of knowing that relationships go through phases but longing for that flirtatious spark.

Whereas “Out Of That Truck” has a rawer sound, with lyrics essentially leaving a good luck message to an ex of moving on and how memories will haunt him for quite some time.

These two singles capture two sides of Underwood’s songwriting that she is known for effortlessly.

Looking forward to seeing what is in store for the other tracks we will see come September.
