If you were planning on taking Josh Allen as your quarterback for Fantasy Football this year, ya might wanna think again.

Okay, okay, the guy is an absolute baller and has proved to be one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL the past few seasons.

However, the rest of his NFL career may be cursed…

Because he’s the next player to be featured on Madden 24.

Incase you aren’t certain about the Madden curse, it has been widely known that almost every player to be featured on the cover of Madden proceeded to completely flop the next year, or are hit with a season ending injury.

Seriously, the list goes on and on.

Of course, you have a few guys who’ve been exceptions, such as star Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Nevertheless, we can’t avoid this trend that has been plaguing this small fraternity of players over the years.

For example, Shaun Alexander, the Seattle Seahawks running back who led his team to a Super Bowl appearance in ’06. After ’06, he never had another 1,000 yard season again. You have Michael Vick, who was featured on the cover of Madden ’04. He broke his leg before the 2004 season and only played in five games.

And then there was Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis, who was featured on the cover of Madden ’11. 2010 turned out to be a one hit wonder season for him, and less and less action as his career went on.

Hopefully, this trend doesn’t continue for Allen.

And the good news is he isn’t worried. In fact, he just sees it as living out a childhood dream:
