Don’t be like this guy.

Give animals there space, even if it’s at your own inconvenience. And most times it’s in your best interest anyways especially with an animal like bison.

Bison are the largest animal to roam the U.S. weighing up to 2,000 pounds. Yellowstone National Park is home to one of the largest and healthiest bison herds in the world with an estimated 5,000 individuals in the park.

The park gives great opportunity to see these massive creatures. Often times right on the roads as you drive along and sometimes, they even are right on the road.

These animals live in herds and often saunter along grazing not moving fast at all. The roads present a great feeding opportunity with lots of vegetation near them.

This leads to road blockages from them being in the way. In can be annoying, but these creatures wigh up to 2,000 pounds and can run up to 35 miles an hour. They will easily damage your vehicle.

Is getting through a slight bison block really worth vehicle damage and possibly injuring a bison? No, it’s not, just sit there an enjoy the bison.

This guy didn’t agree though. He is seen pulling put onto a road in Yellowstone and driving towards a few bison blocking the road. The man doesn’t let off the gas and goes right for them as he must be in a hurry.

Thankfully the bison scatter and get out of the way.

This guy needs to learn to slow down and enjoy life.
