Happy Monday, y’all.

Today for the Song of the Week, we have a new tune from Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen called “We Ain’t The Only Ones.”

From the forthcoming third installment of their Hold My Beer series, which also includes Hold My Beer, Vol. 1  and Hold My Beer, Vol. 2, the song is a unique tribute to our favorite Texas artists, from Willie Nelson and Turnpike Troubadours, to Koe Wetzel, Cody Jinks, Parker McCollum and many, many more.

They name drop just about everybody with a fun line about that artist and something that makes them special and beloved, and it’s layered with some gorgeous fiddle and steel throughout, which is always a plus in my book.

While maybe a very niche and specific topic for a song, it’s a helluva lot of fun if, like me, you’re a fan of the Texas music scene and all the great artists who have paved the way, and continue to carry the torch, of making fantastic country and country-inspired music in the Lone Star state.

And clearly, Randy and Wade have certainly been huge influences and mainstays there too, so it means even more coming from two guys who know that kind of music better than just about anybody.

Discussing the new album, Rogers said:

“‘Hold my Beer Vol. 3’ is finally here. I absolutely love making these records with Wade and am so proud of these songs… we wrote every single one. Listen responsibly. Cheers!”

Bowen added:

“If you don’t have fun listening to these songs, I feel sorry for ya. No reason we should have this much fun ‘working!’

I hope you love these songs as much as we love making them. Grab some friends and drink a few for us! Cheers!”

Hold My Beer, Vol. 3 is slated to drop in just over a month on July 7th, so go ahead and mark it on the calendar and turn this one up:
