Server At Fancy Gala Says Alec Baldwin (Who Was In The Way) Exploded On Her: “He Was Calling Me A Peasant”

Man, Alec Baldwin just keeps looking worse and worse.

The famed actor has spent the past year been dealing with the headlines after he tragically shot and killed cinemaphotographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust back in 2021. He accidentally fired a prop gun what was inexplicably loaded with a live bullet.

He was initially charged with involuntary manslaughter, but the charge was dropped last month.

And throughout that terribly sad ordeal, he continued to piss people off by refusing to accept blame, posting a cringey “one year ago today” post on the anniversary of her death (the he caused), and then, he even said he pumped to finally shave after they wrapped filming. Because, you know… a woman died, but Alec was glad to finally have a damn shave…

And now, Baldwin is in the news once again, and this time it’s for his alleged behavior towards a server at the 2023 PEN America Spring Literary Gala last week.

The server, who was running point guard on the entire team of servers, told Page Six that she doesn’t want to be named, but she admitted that Baldwin was allegedly blocking the path as dinner was starting to be served.

She explained to the outlet:

“I’m a sweep leader, which means I basically tell the waiters when to put down the plates and we have to do it in a certain order.

I was going to feed the head of the table but that’s who he was talking to, so I go up to him and I say, ‘I’m sorry sir, but we’re going to have servers walking through the tables here in a minute.’”

She understood that Baldwin was trying to talk to his friends, but the servers still needed to be able to get through quickly to get the food out.

She said the comment set the actor off, with him saying:

“So when is it a good time to talk to my friends?”

She admitted that she wasn’t expecting that reaction, and said that he was “very agitated” and even said:

“Do I have to explain it to you?”

Trying to cool down the situation, she said that he didn’t need to explain anything.

And it gets worse…

“Afterwards, many of my co-workers came up to me and said, ‘Do you know what he said while you were walking away?’ I didn’t catch it because I was focused on my work but apparently he was calling me a peasant.

I said, ‘Excuse me,’ to Colin Jost and he was nothing but sweet about it. He said, ‘Oh, I’m sorry’ and stepped aside.

So I know it’s not a celebrity thing. Maybe it’s people’s upbringings? Who knows what makes bitter people bitter.”

She said she wasn’t nervous about getting in trouble about the incident, saying she approached him nicely and was “basically doing my job.”

Stay classy, Alec…
