Tourists Thinks Small Snow Fence Is Going To Protect Him From Bison As Others Beg Him To Stop

Bison

That’s too big of an animal to risk anything with.

Stay clear of these beasts because if anything around here can, they will run you over.

Bison are the largest land mammals in North America. They have a massive frame, with males, known as bulls, standing up to 6 feet tall at the shoulder and reaching lengths of 10 to 12 feet. Bulls can weigh over 2,000 pounds.

Bison have a reputation for charging things that agitate them. If people get to close, they can perceive it as a threat and charge. Despite their massive size, bison are surprisingly agile and can reach speeds of up to 35 miles per hour. That speed mixed with the weight and size makes them an absolute wrecking ball of an animal.

Getting close to an animal like this just isn’t a good idea. But, time and time again we see tourists doing this in parks all over the place, disturbing wildlife and putting themselves at risk of serious bodily harm.

This tourist is seen approaching a bison that is peacefully feeding on some grass.

The man has only a skimpy snow fence between him and the bison and walks within feet of the massive beast. He even has people warning him as they scream for him to move. It doesn’t stop this man though, he pulls up his camera and starts taking pictures.

The people taking the video are shocked and the tourists get away lucky without any harm.

Don’t be like these people.
