Man Runs For His Life As A Moose Chases Him Down On The Golf Course

Moose attack golf

What do you yell when a moose is about to hit someone on the golf course?

That’s a question I never want to have to answer, but golf courses are a reasonable spot to see one.

Moose are the largest species of deer in the world. Bulls can weigh up to 1,500 pounds and stand up to 7 feet tall at the shoulder. Cows are smaller, weighing up to 1,000 pounds and standing about 5 feet tall at the shoulder.

Moose are herbivores and their diet consists mainly of leaves, bark, and twigs from trees and shrubs. They are also known to feed on aquatic plants and have been observed diving into lakes and ponds to reach submerged vegetation.

Moose are known to venture into populated areas, including golf courses and neighborhoods, in search of food or suitable habitats. Urban areas provide easy travel routes and sometimes less competition and pressure. Golf courses are particularly attractive to moose, the grass and shrubs provide a plentiful food source along with the many ponds on the courses.

They generally stay away from people but are one of the most dangerous animals due to their massive size. Moose will attack if they feel threatened and are easily confused because of their poor eyesight.

This moose is seen trying to square up with a man who just wants to hit his ball. The man tries to stay away but the moose wants to chase him down.

Eventually, the moose comes at him and the man takes of running towards his friend, who shouts at the young bull and gets it to move along.

That was a close one…
