Twitter Erupts After PK Subban Says The Maple Leafs Need To Pack A “Lizzo-Sized Lunch”

It’s no secret that sports analysts are starting to get their minds off getting canceled, and are beginning to speak their minds more.

Okay, okay, I may just be talking about Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley on Inside the NBA, but you have to love the weekly entertainment those two bring to TV.

However, it appears there’s another sports analyst who is joining in on the Shaq and Charles Barkley fun…

And it’s no other than ESPN’s hockey analyst and former Norris Trophy winner PK Subban.

While discussing the Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers’ for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, fellow hockey analyst John Buccigross said that the Maple Leafs should “pack a lunch” before their second game, meaning that they really need to bring it for the second game.

That’s when PK Subban added:

“Maybe they need to pack a Lizzo sized lunch.”

That’s a BOLD statement for live TV there, Subban, especially when you have Twitter chomping at the bit.

They immediately came with the fat-shaming accusations, which Subban will undoubtedly have to apologize for:

Subban commented on “pack a lunch,” only clarifying the definition:
