Alabama Fans Wear “Killin’ Our Way Through The SEC” Shirts At SEC Tournament After Player Indicted For Murder

Alabama fans are a different breed…and that’s not always a good thing.

The SEC basketball tournament is going on this week here in Nashville. But back in Tuscaloosa, former Alabama basketball player Darius Miles was indicted this past week on capital murder charges for a January shooting that left a 23-year old woman dead.

Meanwhile in Nashville, some Alabama fans decided to wear shirts joking about the murder to yesterday’s game at Bridgestone Arena.

The fans were spotted walking into the arena with shirts that said “GOATS” with the Alabama logo on the front, and the back read “Killin’ Our Way Through The SEC In ’23.”

When the men were confronted by a reporter for AL.com, they confirmed that they were in fact Alabama fans (and not fans of some other school just trolling the Tide) and said that they planned on being back for today’s game against Texas A&M.

But the SEC confirmed that the fans wouldn’t be allowed in with those shirts again, saying in a statement that the men would be asked to leave if they tried wearing the shirts at any point inside the arena.
