Olivia Dunne is making headlines once again.

The famed TikTok star and current gymnast at LSU has quickly become a household name across not only the U.S… but the world.

In fact, she has a whopping 6.6 million followers on TikTok, 2.7 million followers on Instagram, and is making around $2.5 million in NIL money alone.

Pretty good for a 20-year-old.

And that fame was on full display when the LSU gymnastics team traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah to compete against the University of Utah. Needless to say, it was a packed house, but almost every single fan in the building was there to catch a peak at Dunne:

In fact, she’s gotten so popular that LSU has had to hire a security guard to watch out for the team when they travel.

So, whenever ol’ Livvy promotes something, the people are gonna listen.

Earlier this week, Dunne created a TikTok promoting a company called Caktus.ai. It’s an AI essay generator, that will essentially write your essays for you (which is actually terrifying and awesome come to think of it, but that’s a different story).

@livvy @caktus.ai will provide real resources for you to cite at the end of your essays and paragraphs;) #caktus #foryou ♬ original sound – Coach

With that being said, LSU caught wind that Dunne was promoting this app, and needless to say they weren’t too happy about it…

Because ya know, that is cheating.

University spokesperson Alison Satake responded by saying:

“Technology, including AI, can foster learning and creativity. At LSU, our professors and students are empowered to use technology for learning and pursuing the highest standards of academic integrity.

However, using AI to produce work that a student then represents as one’s own could result in a charge of academic misconduct, as outlined in the Code of Student Conduct. More information for faculty can be found here on ‘What College Faculty Should Know about ChatGPT.'”

After the statement was released, Livvy posted a cryptic TikTok, using a line from The Office when Kelly Kapoor says:

“What did I say? I talk a lot so I’ve learned to just tune myself out.”

@livvy Kelly is real for this #foryou ♬ Tune myself out The Office – Freeform
