I’m sure we all remember back in 2021 when Conor McGregor started taunting UFC star Dustin Poirier by claiming that Dustin’s wife had slid into his DMs.
He also tweeted out:
“Your wife is in my DMs. Hey baby, hit me back up and I’ll chat you later on. We’ll be having an afterparty at the Wynn nightclub baby.”
Of course, when the two fought, for the third time in their career, Poirier got the best of McGregor and he basically snapped his leg in half:
Of course, that was almost two years ago, and it appears that everybody has put the situation in the past and moved on…
Until one fan at Mardi Gras decided to stir up the drama once again.
Video footage has gone viral of one fan during the Mardi Gras parade holding a sign that reads:
“Hey Dustin, your wife’s in my DM’s.”
Sure enough, Poirier’s parade float came passing through, and the fan showed him the sign without even thinking twice…
Yeah, you know what they say, mess with the bull, and you’ll get the horns… f*ck around, and you’ll find out.
Once Poirier read the sign, you can see him wave the fan over to the float.
Not thinking anything of it, the fan walked right up to him, assuming Poirier was gonna take the joke and laugh.
Until he realized he didn’t.
Poirier proceeded to try and slap the ever livin’ hell out of the fan, and that’s when the fan probably immediately regretted his decision.

The fan immediately flipped him off and Dustin was ready to hop down from the Jeep and rearrange the dude’s face… however, cooler heads prevailed (or rather, Dustin’s wife held him back), and the parade carried on.
Taunting a UFC fighter… good luck with that one, hoss.
