Sierra Ferrell’s Performance Of “Jeremiah” From Her Opry Debut Is Pure Gold

Sierra Ferrell country music

Man, I love me some Sierra Ferrell.

The West Virginia native absolutely hooked me with her 2021 debut album Long Time Coming and has continued releasing a steady stream of great music since, including a cover of John Anderson’s “Years” and a duet of “Real Low Down Lonesome” with Early James that absolutely belongs on a soundtrack somewhere.

She was also invited to make her Grand Old Opry debut in December of 2022 and today, we get to relive some of that magic.

One of the songs she played in the iconic circle was “Jeremiah,” which was the lead single from her debut album.

Spoiler: It was incredible.

Dressed as only Sierra Ferrell could, she put down an absolutely classic performance of a song that I truly believe will be one of those growers that lasts much longer than one would expect.

Can’t wait to get word on some new music.
