It’s no secret that Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange” was an absolute bombshell song for 2022.

Straight from his incredibly successful American Heartbreak album, the song had success in just about every chart imaginable.

From debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, breaking the top 40 in the Mainstream Country Radio chart, cracking the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Genre chart, and more, the song saw an astounding amount of success in 2022.

But here we are in 2023, and “Something In The Orange” is still doing numbers in the music charts, as the song is sitting atop Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs survey for the very first time, jumping from number two to number one.

According to Billboard, the song wracked up a whopping 17.2 million streams, 4.7 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 4,000 downloads sold between January 20-26.

“Something In The Orange” has charted for 40 straight weeks, making it the fourth-steadiest song in the history of the chart, tying Bastille’s 2014 song, “Pompeii.”

The only songs that sit ahead are the Glass Animal’s “Heat Waves” (60 weeks, 2020-21), twenty one pilots’ “Ride” (47, 2015-16), and Passenger’s “Let Her Go” (43, 2013-14).

Needless to say, it’s been incredible watching the song’s swift rise in popularity amongst all genres, proving that Bryan continues to not only leave his mark on country music fans, but music fans across the world in general.
