Ah, The Ranch… what a show.
Netflix’s The Ranch had quite the run from 2016 to January of 2020, and quickly became on Netflix’s most popular shows.
But despite the show becoming an instant fan favorite, it went through lot of change over the years, specifically after the removal of Danny Masterson after multiple women accused him of rape (Dax Shepard was then added to the show), and it just doesn’t seem like the show recovered.
But The Ranch‘s best character, and it’s not close in my opinion, was Beau Roosevelt Bennett, played by Sam Elliott.
He was a dad’s dad, and I know many of you out there could relate to his rants, his distrust of the government, and his longing for simpler times.
One of his best moments came in 2016 when he went off on almond milk.
“We gotta stop spending money on things we don’t need. You know what I saw in the fridge this morning…”
“WHAT IN THE F-K IS ALMOND MILK!?”
That’s when Colt (played by Ashton Kutcher) replies:
“It’s milk…”
And Sam delivers the heater:
“SHOW ME THE TIT ON AN ALMOND.”
What a legend.
Of course, Sam Elliott’s character on Parks & Rec was hilariously quite the opposite…
