NFL Fans Cry “Scripted” After Buffalo Bills Return Kickoff For Touchdown In First Play Since Damar Hamlin’s Injury

Buffalo Bills touchdown

Couldn’t draw it up any better.

It’s no secret that the Damar Hamlin incident from this past Monday gave the entire league a pause. The most dangerous and frightening NFL moment we’ve ever seen, for a moment, fans across the entire league came together to rally behind one of its players.

And now that Damar is awake, speaking, and appears to have suffered no neurological damage, his story has become an inspiring one.

No doubt, the rest of the Buffalo Bills are playing for something greater today, and it was evident from the second the game started.

In the very first play since Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin was injured, Bills kick returner Nyheim Hines took the opening kick all the way to the house for a touchdown.

Storybook is the word that comes to mind… it was absolute pandemonium in Buffalo.

A number of football fans, and/or conspiracy theorists, called the moment scripted, which sounds absurd given that the Patriots are still in the playoff hunt:

Meanwhile, Damar got the game up while he still recovers in the hospital:

He was loving the return:
