It’s officially bowl season ladies and gentlemen.

Although it’s awesome watching teams you would normally never see play each other compete, it officially marks the end of the college football season, which is bittersweet knowing we have to wait until next August to watch it again.

It’s been one heck of a start to the bowl season this year, as we had some nail biters on Friday, and yesterday, Boise State vs. North Texas went down to the absolute wire.

It was a tough fight by both teams, but the Boise State Broncos eventually topped the Mean Grean by a score of 35-32, making them your 2022 Frisco Bowl champions.

It got a little heated towards the end there:

North Texas fired their seven year head coach Seth Littrell earlier this month, and Phil Bennett was named the interim head coach for the bowl game.

With that being said, before the game he gave one of the most hilarious and wildest responses I’ve ever seen when being asked if he thinks this will be his last game as a head coach for the Mean Green.

He said:

“When I remarried my wife said, ‘You can do what you want, but there will come a time when you have to come home.’ don’t know. She told me the other day that she’s going to have a man sleeping in the house next year, and if it’s going to me, I better show up.

So that’s basically an ultimatum… I’m an Aggie, but I’m not stupid.”

What a legend.

At the end of the day, ya gotta do what ya gotta do when the wife ain’t happy.
