Nightmare fuel.
Of course, when you’re fishing or camping with your buddies out in the forest, you always have to keep an eye out for some predators who could potentially pose a threat to you.
However, they’re typically more scared of you than you are of them (believe it or not), so as long as you keep your distance and don’t do anything that poses a threat to them, they usually won’t come near you.
In most of these instances, I’m talking about bears.
In particular, mama bears that are a bit on edge because they’re trying to protect their cubs.
And in this video, these fishermen didn’t do anything wrong at their campsite… because this MASSIVE black bear strutted right up to them, just wanting to check things out.
The video dates back to September in Mammoth Lakes, California, where you can see a huge bear hanging out at a group of fishermen’s lakefront campsite, only a few feet away from them.
In the footage, it appears that the bear is trying to sip on their drinks (it does look like beer, but not sure), and checks out the campsite.
But perhaps the most heart pounding part of the whole video is when the bear struts past the guy filming, and the filmer’s breathing gets significantly heavier as it walks by…
And just when you think the creature is about to walk off, it briefly turns back around towards the guy filming.
He says:
“That was cool”
But as he continues to breathe heavily, you can sense what he actually meant was:
“Holy shit, I have to go change my pants.”
