We all know and love Matthew Perry for his iconic role as Chandler Bing in the hit TV show, Friends.

We also know Keanu Reeves for his iconic roles as well, in movies like The Devil’s Advocate, The Matrix, The Replacements, and John Wick. But Keanu us also well-known for literally being the nicest person in all of Hollywood.

Respectful, humble, kind… he still takes the subway, and has been documented giving up his seat for other people.

Ask anybody in Hollywood and they’ll you that he’s a class act.

However, according to Perry’s new tell-all memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, that’s out November 1st, the star actor isn’t too big of a fan of Reeves…

In fact, some might interpret his words as harshly as “I wish he was dead.”

Page Six gave us a first look at what we can expect in the new memoir, and Perry had some harsh words for Reeves, writing:

“Why is it that the original thinkers like River Phoenix and Heath Ledger die, but Keanu Reeves still walks among us?”

Yeah, interpret that statement however you want, but it kinda sounds like Perry wishes he could trade Reeves for Phoenix.

Perry played in the 1988 film A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, alongside Reeves’ best friend, River Phoenix.

He had strong praise for the late Phoenix in the memoir:

“River was a beautiful man inside and out and too beautiful for this world, it turned out. it always seems to be the really talented guys who go down.”

And then when Chris Farley passed away of an overdose in 1997, Perry took another shot at Reeves:

“I punched a hole through Jennifer Aniston’s dressing room wall when I found out…. Keanu Reeves walks among us.”

I mean SHEESH. There appears to be some serious, deep-rooted hatred here for a guy who he has never worked with before. And let’s not forget EVERYBODY says good things about Keanu Reeves. Everybody except Matthew Perry…

Do the two have a bad history? Or does Perry simply dislike the guy from what he’s seen over the years?

Perry has, of course, struggled with substance abuse in recent years, and even confesses that he was likely going to die as a result. He said he spent roughly $9 million dollars trying to get sober and at once point, would take 55 pain pills a day.

Perry’s new memoir also reveals why he broke up the great Julia Roberts:
