Watch A Hammered John Daly Sing “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” Karaoke At Austin Bar

As if we needed to confirm John Daly’s legendary status even more.

We’re talking about a two-time Major Championship winner on the PGA Tour, Hooters legend, pro belly flopper, part time country artist, and a guy that could put down 35 to 40 beers a day in his hay day, and THEN start drinking liquor.

The same guy who allegedly used to have a secret hiding spot to sober up in Jon Gruden’s office at the Hooter’s headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.

It’s recently been announced that they’re making a biopic about the man himself, titled The Bad Boy of Golf, and no other than Jonah Hill will be portraying Daly in the movie, which is pretty badass.

Since that announcement, I’ve found myself going through the vaults and trying to find the best moments from John Daly over the years, and I came across this gem.

Somebody happened to walk into a bar in Austin, Texas, and walked in to the sight of John Daly singing Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” and he’s HAMMERED drunk.

Of course, I can’t confirm he was hammered, but judging by the subpar singing and hair all in a mess, I’m guessing he was in a couple too many at this point in the night.

Could you imagine?

Walking into a bar and you have one of the most recognizable faces in all of golf singing his heart out to some karaoke.

That’s why people love Daly, though. He’s just one of the boys.
