Drew Fish Band is ready to kickstart your weekend the right way with his new single, “Friday Beers.”
And for Fish, premiering it with Whiskey Riff was the obvious choice:
“I know the Whiskey Riff crowd loves to have a good time so it was our first choice when it came to releasing this song.
We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying a long neck while listening this weekend.”
Written by Fish, David Banning, and Kyle Level, the man himself is releasing the song in collaboration with Almost Friday Media’s brand, “Friday Beers,” which is where he drew the inspiration from the song.
He said:
“I’ve followed the Friday Beers Instagram page for years and when I pitched the idea of writing the song to David and Kyle, they were all about it.
We were really hoping that we could get something that Almost Friday Media would like and want to get behind.”
And after listening, I’m not sure if there’s a better song that suits the brand more perfectly.
Of course, if you know anything about the Drew Fish Band, then you already know that they’re a good timin’ bunch from the Lone Star State, known for their up tempo honky tonk sound.
And “Friday Beers,” is right in the wheelhouse.
Fish himself, summed it up best.
“Whether you’re getting off work at 5 on a Friday or you are walking out of your last class of the week, who doesn’t love that first sip of a fresh beer to kick the weekend off?
I’ll drink to that.
