Well, I’ve never seen a catfish this large and aggressive.
Any water animal that can get things that are completely on dry land is a force to be reckoned with. I mean, gators and crocs? Nobody trying to mess with them.
But a catfish?
European Catfish can grow up to 5 feet long and are known to eat just about anything they can including unsuspecting prey that is on land. Yup, they are beasts.
I’ve never heard of them before but this video shows me all I need to know about the species.
A few giant catfish are seen swimming close to shore as a flock of birds stands on shore with a few on the waters edge. One of them has its toes in the water as the catfish slowly and patiently moves in close to it.
In a flash the catfish leaps and grabs the bird as the others make for drier ground.
Insane…
Nature always has the unexpected in store, both for the prey, and the person who gets to watch it all unfold.
