Zac Brown Band Joined By Jamey Johnson & Marcus King For New Rendition Of “Stubborn Pride”

Zac Brown country music

Last year, the Zac Brown Band got their wits about them again, returning to their roots with pure country music on their latest album The Comeback.

The album had us all reminiscing on the glory days of the band, when they were dropping songs like “Chicken Fried,” “Highway 20 Ride,” “Toes,” and more. Of course, nothing will ever compare to The Foundation in 2008, but it was much better than the previous project.

And since the release of The Comeback, they’ve dropped a number of collaborations with other country stars off the album as part of their The Comeback Deluxe album.

So far, we’ve gotten “Out in the Middle” with Blake Shelton, and “Wild Palomino” with Cody Johnson.

Now, we can add yet another song to that list, with “Stubborn Pride,” featuring Jamey Johnson and Marcus King.

The original song already featured the southern rock and blues mainstay Marcus King, but needless to say, the addition of Jamey Johnson makes the song that much more powerful.

We’re talking about one of the best voices in all of mainstream country music, one of the best songwriters in country music history in Jamey Johnson, and the incredibly talented Marcus King joining forces for beautiful harmonies, and unique transitions in vocals between the three artists.

Needless to say, these collaborations just keep getting better and better.
