On July 31st, police arrested former star NFL running back Frank Gore for assault after an incident occurred in Atlantic City at the Tropicana Casino’s Havana Tower.

With that being said, some horrifying details are now beginning to emerge from the incident.

According to court documents that were obtained by TMZ, the gruesome details say that Gore grabbed a woman by her hair while she was naked, and dragged her across the hallway of her hotel room.

The alleged victim, who is 28, shared what happened to hotel security.

Police arrived to the scene, but did not make an immediate arrest after the woman did not show any initial signs of injury.

However now, the 39-year-old former running back is set to have a hearing in October.

In Frank Gore’s long NFL career that spanned from the San Francisco 49ers, to the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets, he amassed 16,000 yards on the ground, putting him at third all time in the league for rushing yards, only behind Walter Payton and Emmitt Smith.

He played his final season for the Jets in 2020, and had signed a one-year deal with the 49ers this past April before officially retiring. He initially said he was trying to get a job in the Niners’ front office.

He said:

“I love looking at talent. I love evaluating talent and I love ball. And they know that I know football players, what it’s supposed to take to be a football player.”

He’s also spent some time boxing recently.
