We all know Jason Isbell as one of the best songwriters in country music/Americana.

He’s one of those guys that doesn’t need all of the bells and whistles, pyrotechnics, and shakin’ his ass on stage like some artists like to do to get the crowd going (I’m looking at you Luke Bryan).

It’s truly impressive how he can put a crowd in awe with just a guitar and his vocals, and it’s I just hope that one day I’ll get to experience the guy play live at some point.

With that being said, he’s taking his talents to arguably the greatest stage in all of country music, the mother church of the genre, the Ryman Auditorium.

And no, we’re not talking about one show…

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit has just announced eight shows lined up at the prestigious venue, kicking off on October 14th, and rounding out on October 23rd.

The band is also bringing along some special guests for each night, including Peter One, Grace Group Gospel Choir, Vagabon, Kevin Kaarl, Leyla McCalla, Amanda Shires, Hermanos Gutierrez, and Cimafunk.

If you get the chance, this is an opportunity you aren’t gonna wanna miss out on.
