Joe Rogan = BIG Whiskey Myers guy.
A world renown standup comedian, UFC commentator, host of arguably the world’s biggest podcast, Joe Rogan has built from himself a monster of a platform.
Of course as a result, he seem to have quite the target on his back lately, but none of the controversy has stopped Joe from continuing have great conversations with a variety of interesting guests.
And one of his most recent? Retired Navy SEAL and bestselling author Jack Carr.
In addition to talking about his new book, the awful military exit in Afghanistan, and more, they got to talking about military films including the old 1950s SEAL flick, The Frogmen.
To which Joe interrupted and said:
“Have you ever heard the Whiskey Myers song ‘Frogman?’ Fuuuuuck. Fuuuuck. It’s great.
Whiskey Myers is the shit.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard Joe endorse some of our favorite artists.
He’s shown love to artists like Johnny Cash, Colter Wall and Tyler Childers, and has had artists like Sturgill Simpson and Chris Stapleton on as guests.
The larger point is that Joe has the biggest platform in the world and he’s using it to show love to some of the best artists in the business.
And he ain’t wrong about “Frogman.”
