“What He Didn’t Do” Headed To Country Radio As Carly Pearce’s Next Single

Carly Pearce has a brand new single headed to country radio.

She recently scored her third career #1 with Ashley McBryde for their duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl”, which was just the second solo female duet to reach the #1 spot in a 30-year time span at the time it went #1 (Miranda Lambert and Elle King recently had “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home) go #1, as well).

From Carly’s 2021 third studio album, 29: Written In Stone, “What He Didn’t Do” will be the third from the record:

Of course, the whole album is full of some great “divorce songs,” which Carly has previously noted was very intentional, and this is one of the best.

In the song, she mentions that while we won’t learn all the nitty-gritty details of what exactly happened in her divorce from Michael Ray, it all boils down to the fact that, in the end, “it wasn’t what he did, no, it was what he didn’t do.”

I think that about says it all…

We’ll see if Carly can go for back-to-back #1’s, as this tune will make a solid contender at country radio:
