Stunned. Shocked. Flabbergasted.
It’s about that time of year again…
There is a viral phenomenon where every year the internet collectively finds out that something they long thought to be true, is in fact, not.
And while I’m not talking about the Mandela Effect per se, but more so, just people on the internet get their collective mind blown finding out they’ve been wrong this whole time.
For example, in today’s news, Twitter found out that this popular meme is NOT Zach Galifianakis, but rather Robert Redford in the movie Jeremiah Johnson.
Released in 1972, Jeremiah Johnson is an American Western film directed by Sydney Pollack starring Redford as Jeremiah Johnson and Will Geer as Chris “Bear Claw” Lapp.
Of course, if you’ve never seen the movie, or don’t know who Robert Redford is, it’s not hard to see why you could confuse him for Zach.
But that being said, it was hilarious watching the internet find out:
