BJ Barham Delivers Acoustic Rendition Of “All I Needed,” The Lead Single From Forthcoming Album ‘Chicamacomico’

“All I Needed,” but make it acoustic?

Yes, PLEASE.

American Aquarium frontman BJ Barham posted a stripped back acoustic video of the new song, and needless to say, it’s fantastic.

“All I Needed” is the lead single from their forthcoming album, Chicamacomico, and was co-written by BJ along with Carl Anderson. The studio version also features vocals from Patterson Hood of the Drive-By Truckers, which is pretty cool.

Though BJ already said the new album will include a lot of dark, sad songs (which are his forte), this one is definitely a drive around with your windows down, fun summer song.

And according to the lengthy caption he also posted on Instagram, it sounds like it’s doing pretty damn well so far… you love to see it:

“Our new single ‘All I Needed’ has been out in the world a little more than a week now and the response has been overwhelming. Here’s a few of the highlights.
