The late, great Kenny Rogers is a country music icon.
And now, you can watch his entire, final tribute concert on DVD or buy the CD to keep forever, as the film Kenny Rogers: All In For The Gambler will be released everywhere on May 20th, 2022.
The film includes Kenny’s beautiful last performance with Dolly Parton of their absolutely iconic 1983 #1 hit “Islands in the Stream”, as well as performances by Alison Krauss, Chris Stapleton, Don Henley, Elle King, Idina Menzel, Jamey Johnson, Lady A, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town, Kris Kristofferson, Reba McEntire, The Flaming Lips, The Judds, Wynonna, and The Oak Ridge Boys, along with many other special guests.
It was originally filmed at a sold out show on October 25th, 2017, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, right before Kenny retired. He passed away a few years later at the age of 81 in March of last year due to natural causes.
The film and music release also includes previously unseen performances of Kenny’s classics “Lucille” by Justin Moore, “Love Or Something Like It” by The Oak Ridge Boys, “You Turn The Light On” by Wynonna and “Blaze Of Glory” by Billy Dean, Crystal Gayle, Kim Forester, Lee Greenwood, Rudy Gatlin, Steve Gatlin, T. G. Sheppard, T. Graham Brown and Travis Tritt.
While the whole show promises to be absolutely incredible with so many huge names in music coming together to celebrate The Gambler, it simply does not get any better than these two icons sharing the stage:
