Casey D is BACK.
Casey Donahew is a legend in the Texas country music scene, known for his diverse songwriting, ranging from country comedy, to wishing you never sent that text to your ex after being 14 beers deep at the bar.
He’s been a mainstay in the Lone Star state music scene for 20 years, and he continues to produce some damn good country music, as he dropped his latest album today, titled Built Different.
If you’re a fan of honky-tonk twangers, this is the album for you.
The project appears to be all about Donahew reflecting on his full-throttle lifestyle and the good ol’ days, and it’s easy to see with songs like the title-track, “Legends,” “One Foot in the Grave,” and “83 Chevrolet Time Machine.”
Needless to say, the man’s still got it.
