Country music is the lifeblood of Whiskey Riff, and we pride ourselves on standing firmly in the corner of the independent artists, and those few in the mainstream still doing it the right way. Whether it’s Waylon, Willie and legends of the past, or superstars in the making like Zach Bryan, our finger is always on the pulse of true country music. From Texas to Tennessee, Appalachia to Bakersfield, Whiskey Riff is THE unapologetic voice of the country music fan.
A RIFF on what makes the great outdoors…great.
“Country” is more than just a steel guitar. It’s a lifestyle. A mindset. A cold beer, hot grill and the great outdoors. A lifestyle so perfectly captured by the country greats of yesterday, but still alive and well today in artists who truly get it.
Whiskey Riff is that lifestyle.
Say goodbye to boredom.
The best playlists in country music…period.
On ‘Whiskey Riff Raff,’ Steve Gazibara and Wes Langeler give an unfiltered and unapologetic take on country music, life, and all the craziness that comes with it. Laugh with us. Rant with us. Drink with us.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everybody.
And what better way to celebrate the day as a country fan, than downing a pints of Guinness and cranking up a country-fied Irish party song?
The rodeo saddle bronc rider turned country artist, Chancey Williams, dropped his festive boot stompin’ Irish jam “On The Tear Tonight” a couple weeks back, and damn if it isn’t catchy as all hell.
Talk about a song that’ll get you in the jolly spirit for one of the best beer drinkin’ days on the planet, it’ll make you wish you were about 10 beers deep at an Irish pub (if you aren’t already).
Williams is quickly making a name for himself, and spent all last year touring with the likes of Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, and Aaron Watson.
And to piggyback off a stellar 2021, the man won 2022 Rocky Mountain CMA Entertainer of the Year, along with Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year back in February.
Not to mention, he’s gearing up to play at Cheyenne Frontier Days with Dierks Bentley on Saturday, July 23rd.
Check out the lyric video for “On The Tear Tonight” and enjoy a pint… or 70.
