Billy Strings Wins Best New Headliner Award At The 33rd Annual Pollstar Awards

Billy Strings country music

Come on with it, son.

Anybody who remembers watching that OG Billy Strings video of him playing “Dust In A Baggie” in what looked like a basement with his friends, probably didn’t know that the dude was going to be a superstar.

Fast forward a decade later, and here we are…

Billy Strings has forever changed the sound of bluegrass with his out of this world pickin’ abilities, and soul-stirring lyrics, which comes together in his live show.

This year alone, he’s been nominated for Best Bluegrass Album (Renewal) and Best American Roots Performance (“Love and Regret”) for this year’s Grammy Awards.

And most recently, he’s just been announced as this year’s winner of the Best New Headliner/Artist Development Story award at the 33rd Annual Pollstar Awards.

Granted, I’m not sure who’s that concerned about the Pollstar Awards, but when an all-genre award show is recognizing one of the most underrated country acts in the business, we call it a big win.

You just love to see it.

Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show Tour also took home best country tour.
