Lainey Wilson Performs “Things A Man Oughta Know,” And More For ‘Yellowstone’

Lainey Wilson and Yellowstone? Sign me the hell up.

By this point pretty much everyone on the planet knows Yellowstone is one of the best shows on TV, with BY FAR the best soundtrack.

From Texas superstars like Whiskey Myers and Cody Jinks, to Kentucky legends Sturgill Simson and Tyler Childers, Red Dirt stars like Turnpike Troubadours, the best of the mainstream like Chris Stapleton, I mean the list goes on and on…

And Lainey has been a strong addition.

We recently saw a Yellowstone acoustic performance of “Rolling Stone”, but now we get to see the full performance, adding “Workin’ Overtime” and “Things A Man Oughta Know,” along with some new commentary around what country music means to her and a little about her writing process, including this great line about how best to write country music.

“I think at the end of the day it’s just about sitting down, telling the truth, and saying things that a lot of people are scared to say.”

That’s what makes her one of the best, people…

Got to love them both.

And make sure you follow the Yellowstone: The Soundtrack playlist, updated live weekly with all new music featured.
