Jameis Winston, ya almost can’t help but love the guy.
The quarterback for the New Orleans Saints is arguably one of the most hilarious and likeable character in the NFL, and you never know what you’re gonna get from the guy week in and week out.
I mean, remember this gem?
The man was building up quite the comeback story, leading the Saints to a 4-2 record after taking over the QB duties after Drew Brees’ retirement last season.
However, he ran into a setback yesterday, as his knee buckled on him after taking a hit in his game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Head coach Sean Payton noted after the game that Jameis may have a significant knee injury, and it has since been confirmed that he tore both his ACL and MCL. He’ll be out for the season.
Anyways, NFL journeyman QB Trevor Siemian led the Saints to a shocking 36-27 victory over Tom Brady and the Bucs, who are arguably one of the best teams in the league right now.
Needless to say, the boys from the Saints were celebrating hardcore after the game.
An Instagram live video went viral yesterday, showing Saints players dancing in the locker room… why it went viral, you may ask?
Because the video turned to Jameis Winston, dancing his absolute ass off on crutches.
Besides the fact that it’s hilarious and just another great Jameis moment, you gotta respect the leadership too. He could’ve easily been moping around, sulking at the fact that his season is probably over.
Nahhh. Jameis is gonna celebrate with his team, crutches or no crutches.
Honestly, you hate to see him on the shelf for the rest of the season.
