The ‘Marfa Tapes’ Trio Returns To Late Night TV For A Performance Of “Two-Step Down To Texas”

The Marfa Tapes trio does not miss.

Miranda, Jack and Jon were on another late-night show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, to perform “Two-Step Down to Texas,” one of the songs from their newest album.

Of course, they gave a solid performance per the usual, but more than that, it’s such a unique song that shows off their Texas spirit and roots.

And performing for a national audience like that, they just make country music look good.

The trio has stayed pretty busy lately, recently performing “Tequila Does” on the CMT awards and “In His Arms” for an episode of CMT Campfire Sessions.

As if I didn’t already love this record enough when it first came out, the more I see them perform it live, the more it solidifies as an easy top-three album of the year contender for me.

And as a bonus, get to know country music producer and one third of the ‘Marfa Tapes’ trio Jon Randall as he hopped on the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast for a great conversation with Wes and Steve recently:
