Group Of Hammerhead Sharks Surprise Florida Beachgoers In VERY Shallow Waters

Boaters and beachgoers recently got one helluva thrill, as a group of 7 large hammerhead sharks crashed their Pensacola, Florida, party.

Several boats were docked close to shore as people relaxed on floats and waded in the shallow water. Then the fins appeared from under the water, and that’s when the footage starts rolling.

The crystal clear waters provides a good glimpse at just how big the sharks are. And you can hear the chaotic nervousness in the area as folks try to clear the water as someone on the boat counts the number of sharks in the area.

For the most part every one remained calm though, and the situation did not turn dangerous.

According to Jacqueline Lesso, who filmed the video:

“None of the sharks were aggressive in any way and the screaming was more of excitement than hysteria,”

“A lesson learned to keep your cool and stay calm.”

The three women on the raft the sharks were circling were unharmed, but as you can tell they were certainly a little shocked to find themselves in in such close proximity to such a deadly creature.

I mean, if you think sharks can’t swim in shallow waters… this is all the proof you need.
