Randall King’s 14-Song, 13-Minute ’90s Music Medley Is Good For The Soul

Randall King is an absolute super-star in the making.

With a powerhouse of a voice, great songwriting skills, classic Texas country sound and a new album on the way, Randall King has positioned himself for big things in the long and short term.

While he’s been posting country-fied covers of popular songs like “I’ll Be” and “Big Poppa”, he’s kept as busy as possible playing small shows whenever possible over the last year.

One of those shows was at Bucks Bar and Grill in Waterloo, Nebraska, and during that show, Randall showed he’s not just a singer-songwriter, but a full blown entertainer.

At some point during his performance, he broke into a 13-minute ’90s country covers medley and it was FANTASTIC. Every song was a banger (almost like it was pulled from the Whiskey Riff 90’s Playlist), and he even included “I’ll Be” and the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” in his country style.

The crowd was loving it and did a pretty great job keeping up, but you can tell this Randall was in the zone. I know it’s way too early in his career for it, but a 90’s Cover Album ala American Aquarium would be a ton of fun with his style.

I can’t wait to hear the new record that coming out (hopefully) soon and fully expect Mr. King have a major next couple years.
