Texas Miranda is my favorite Miranda.
Teaming up with fellow Texans, Jon Randall and Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert and company have released the first track from their highly-anticipated new project, The Marfa Tapes.
As promised, it’s raw and unpolished… and as expected, it’s downright phenomenal. The lead single “In His Arms” goes a little something like this:
“I’ve seen El Paso when the sky was on fire
Lost a night in Juarez a couple of times
Danced with a cowboy on a straight tequila high
I wish I was in his arms tonight.”
Featuring 13 new songs including “In His Arms,” as well as new versions of “Tequila Does” and “Amazing Grace,” The Marfa Tapes are out on May 7th.
