Ashley McBryde Announces New Live EP, ‘Never Will: Live From A Distance’

Well it’s not exactly live music, but we’ll absolutely take it.

Ashley McBryde announced she will be releasing an EP of songs recorded live with her band on May 28th, titled Never Will: Live From a Distance, and you can say I’m a little excited…

Ashley is unquestionably one of the best mainstream artists to step in front of a microphone right now, and hopefully this new live album is a sign of what’s to come when live shows start again in the fall.

Along with the announcement, she released the performance of “First Thing I Reach For,” and as always, she crushed it.

After a quick look through the track list (and while I’m sure every performance is going to be great), I’m especially excited for “Voodoo Doll.” It’s the epitome of Ashley’s vocal talent in my humble opinion… a rock song with mandolin and one of the most powerful voices in music. Sign me UP.

Never Will: Live From A Distance Tracklist:

“First Thing I Reach For”
“Shut Up, Sheila”
“Velvet Red”
“Voodoo Doll”
“Martha Divine”
“Sparrow”
