Lauren Alaina Teams Up With Jon Pardi For New Single “Getting Over Him”

Lauren Alaina and Jon Pardi are teaming up once again for her new single “Getting Over Him.”

Hitting country radio today, the new single was written by Lauren herself, along with Paul DiGiovanni and Emily Weisband. It’s also the title track from her 2020  EP, Getting Over Him.

“I’ve done duets with other people for their projects, but I have never done any for my own. I’ve got a duet with Pardi on his album, and then he loved this one. His energy is so amazing. I can’t believe I have a rebound song – but I do.”

Alaina recently collaborated with Hardy and Devin Dawson for the chart-topping “One Beer,” the lead single from Hardy’s A Rock record.

Of course, the pair also collaborated on the Eric Church/Miranda Lambert co-write “Don’t Blame It On Whiskey” for Jon’s stellar Heartache Medication record in 2019.
