Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Mean Tweets’ Devotes An Entire Segment To Roasting The Hell Out Of Tom Brady

Why do we get so much pleasure out of watching superstars get roasted by the internet? What a brilliant concept.

In the latest edition of Mean Tweets, and with the Super Bowl coming up this weekend, Jimmy Kimmel took the opportunity to place the heat solely on the shoulders of the great Tom Brady. A 6-time Super Bowl-winner, with a shot at number 7 this Sunday, the pretty boy quarterback with his supermodel wife and zillions of dollars is probably one of the most hated guys in the entire NFL… and Twitter let him know.

“Tom Brady is one of the all-time NFL greats, which means he also gets some all-time hate. But Tom is a very good sport, so we asked him to read a bunch of terrible things written about him on Twitter and he did so enthusiastically, proving that he’s even the GOAT of Mean Tweets.”

Folks in Tampa Bay love him these days, some folks in New England still probably do too, and of course, there’s plenty of people that can appreciate his GOATness, but watching him get roasted for two-straight minutes is pure pleasure in my eyes.

Can we just make this a weekly thing, bring some of these elite celebrities back down to Earth a little bit? Get the politicians back on? I need more of this in my life.

And the dog line? Too far… too far.
