An absolute LEGEND on the baseball field.

Hall of Famer and home run king, Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron has away passed away this morning at the age of 86.

The Braves legend held the career home run record for most of my life, originally passing Babe Ruth in 1974. With 755 career homers, he held the record for many years until it was broken by Barry Bonds in 2007. And while Barry is known for being one of the premiere juicers of the steroid era, some still consider Hank the MLB home run champ, not to mention, he still holds the record for career RBIs and Total Bases.

The Alabama native was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1982.

RIP Hank.
