If 2020 had any highlights (there weren’t many), Sturgill’s dual-album bluegrass project, Cuttin’ Grass has to be up there.
Stu and his gang of Hillbilly Avengers made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon last night, performing “Life Of Sin” from Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 1 – The Butcher Shoppe Sessions. Virtual of course, the performance was recorded at The Station Inn in Nashville.
Written by Sturgill himself (like most of them are), “Life Of Sin” originally appeared on Sturgill’s 2014 album Metamodern Sounds in Country Music.
And how about Sierra Hull shredding that mando? Good stuff.
